During late stages of the WW II Marshal Tito directed his troops from the Adriatic island of Vis. This medal, struck in silvered bronze, had been awarded to his staff acting on the island of Vis during that period. Medal measures 40 mm, suspended from plain red ribbon, in very fine condition.

Second Class Order, with silver wreath, 2nd type,, 1945-63. First type of this Order was minted in Moscow, this is Yugoslav made Order, in solid silver, gilt and enamels. Maker's mark ZIN KOVNICA and hallmarks for silver on reverse, numbered, mint condition, in case of issue.

Second Class, Order with Silver Wreath (Type II, 1986-1991), in silver, silver gilt and enamels, 48mm, unmarked, mint condition, in case of issue. Until 1986 total of 6,310 orders Second Class issued.

First Class (Order with gold wreath), in silver (marked 900), gilt and enamels, by IKOM, Zagreb, 48mm, mint condition, and in case of issue. Until 1985 total of 3870 first class of Orders of Brotherhood and Unity awarded. Scarce.

In gilded silver, enameled, hallmarked IKOM, Zagreb, 44x49mm, mint condition, in case of issue. Until 1985 total of 7096 Order of Labor with Red Flag awarded.

Fine quality, hand made belt buckle, in gilded tombac, center enameled. This type of buckle was worn by Marshal Tito while on Vis, however, it is possible other high ranking Yugoslav leaders wore same style of buckle. Very rare.

In gilded tombac, very light, hollow, very fine details, unmarked, but typical IKOM manufacture, circa 1970-80, mounted on a full length of fine quality neck ribbon, extremely fine condition. Fine example. Marshal Tito established order in 1943, and was awarded for heroism and exceptional bravery in the field, thus ranked as highest Yugoslav order. First orders of Hero were made in Moscow, in solid gold. However later models were made in bronze gilt.

Badge in gilded bronze and enamels, 70x86mm. Awarded to only a handful of distinguished Yugoslav military personnel (including Tito). This one unnamed, not awarded example, contained in case of issue. Extremely fine condition. Extremely rare.
