In gilded tombac, very light, hollow, very fine details, unmarked, but typical IKOM manufacture, circa 1970-80, mounted on a full length of fine quality neck ribbon, extremely fine condition. Fine example. Marshal Tito established order in 1943, and was awarded for heroism and exceptional bravery in the field, thus ranked as highest Yugoslav order. First orders of Hero were made in Moscow, in solid gold. However later models were made in bronze gilt.
