For establishment of the Croatian State 1941; Silver grade pin back award, in silvered bronze, 40.5mm x 55.5mm, unmarked (sole maker was “Braca Knaus, Zagreb), very fine condition. Awarded to “Old Ustasha” members who joined Ustasha organization prior to October 16, 1934. As very small number qualified to receive this award recipients were held in high esteem. Very rare award.

Cross Third Class, in silvered bronze and enamels, 37mm x 40mm, worn condition, very good/fine.

Cross Second Class, in silvered bronze and enamels, 44mm x 47mm, unmarked but of typical “Braca Knaus, Zagreb”, manufacture, with full length of original ribbon, extremely fine.

Third Class Cross, in bronze gilt and enamels, 41mm x 41.5mm, with short ribbon, unmarked, known sole maker was “Braca Knaus, Zagreb”, very fine condition.

Grand Cross, in bronze gilt and enamels, 60mm x 60.50mm, without sash ribbon, unmarked, known sole maker was “Braca Knaus, Zagreb”, very fine condition.

First Class Cross, in non magnetic metal, lacquered arms, center enamelled, 49.5mm x 50.80mm, unmarked, known sole maker was “Braca Knaus, Zagreb”, with full length of original ribbon, minor repair to black lacquer on obverse, overall very fine condition and very scarce.

In zinc alloy, impressed: 299 Befehlshd. O.Pol. Kroatien Kdr. D. Gend. Gebiel.V. Ground find, poor/fair condition.

Badge in aluminum, measures 43 x 57mm, un issued piece, not numbered, without pin on reverse, mint condition. Unmarked, though it is known “Braca Knaus” was the sole maker. Ustasha Defense badge was worn by the members of the “Ustasha Defense” Units. Primary role of the Ustasha Defense was security and policing of the POW and labor camps like Jasenovac, Stara Gradiska, among others. These units were under the command of Eugen Dido Kvaternik initially, then Maks Luburic took over the Command in 1942. Scarce badge in excellent condition.

Pair of collar tabs of the Military Clergymen of Christian confession, 1941-45 period. Croatian Army Clergymen lived alongside Armed units performing their duties, sometimes under fire. Tabs are finely made of silvered/gilded wire, sewn on red background, but showing extensive wear and use, thus fair/poor condition; extremely rare collar tabs.

In zinc alloy, unmarked; Standard size belt buckle, most certainly pattern with “PB” initials in the center, most likely to be used by the Reserve Battalion (Pripremna Bojna) or Honorary Battalion 5Th. December (Pocasna Bojna 5. Prosinac), unused, mint condition, and extremely rare.

In die stamped brass, 30x38mm, very fine.

In aluminum, die stamped, marked “Braca Knaus, Zagreb”; Standard size belt buckle, most certainly pattern, with flying eagle in centre very likely proposed buckle for the Para Battalion or some other Air Force unit, near mint condition and extremely rare.

Of Officers’ School of Iron Trefoil in Varazdin, dated 1943, in die stamped bronze, 37x45mm, pin back, catch missing, otherwise very fine condition and rare. Awarded to promoted Officers’ of the Third Class Of Officers’ School of Iron Trefoil in Varazdin.

Armed Gendarmerie, in die stamped silvered bronze, 51mm, unmarked (though known to be made by Braca Knaus, Zagreb), c. 1943, worn condition, very fine and very scarce.
